My tribute to Gilbert and George. Collages of the two tweedy gents, plus a slogan, some skimpily clad young men, a lurid, lowering sky and urban squalor, linked rather jokily to a couple of stills from a production of Blood Brothers. The squared format gives a quasi-religious feel to the collage, just like one of G&G’s stained glass works.
